Apartment Rentals
An ordinance was passed September 19, 2023, which the town has neglected to adhere to. A new sewer contract will make it necessary to adhere to it now. It states: “All rental units which are accupied by tenants, and the owner is charging for rent, will be assessed the standard fee for sewer, water, and garbage as outlined by the Mantua Summary of fees.” (for the unit) It is the responsibility of the home owner to notify the town when a unit is rented.
